The mission of the libraries within the Board are to support the mission of the WCDSB by acting as a resource for students and staff who learn, grow, and transform the world together as faithful disciples of the Risen Lord.

Libraries will accomplish this mission by:

Providing services and information to support the academic, curriculum-related and spiritual needs of staff and students.
Helping staff and students become effective users of ideas and information by teaching them how to find, interpret, and evaluate information.
Fostering a love of reading and promoting an enjoyment of literature.
