Happy Easter Spirit!

We hope that all of you had an enjoyable time with your family over the Easter weekend. Additionally, we hope that you are finding your way through week two of educator-led distance learning. Below, you will find a few updates that we would like to pass on.

Thought Exchange

We are interested in learning about how WCDSB Learn@Home is going. Your participation in the Thought Exchange (link below) is voluntary, and your feedback will be very important for helping us make sure that we are providing the needed supports for students, staff, parents and community members.

WCDSB Pray@Home

The WCDSB Pray@Home portal is up and running via the WCDSB Learn@Home Please visit it to check out some of the resources available to your family there.

As we are in the Easter Season, the WCDSB is looking for artwork or post cards depicting what the Resurrection looks like to your child/family to share with the system and community. If your child is willing to create something, please send a picture or share it with your child’s teacher and they will forward them to Mr. Dowling.

The Umbrella Project WCDSB Parent Webinar

Please see the attached flyer for details on the Umbrella Project’s Webinar for WCDSB parents.

We appreciate that there are questions regarding assessment, evaluation or timelines for curriculum goals. Many of the answers to these questions can be found on the WCDSB Learn@Home page under Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Continue to monitor the WCDSB Coronavirus Updates, our website, Newswire, Twitter (@stnkspirit) and Instagram (@stnicholasspirit) for any updates.

Stay safe and healthy, Spirit!
