Catholic Education Week 2020 – Igniting Hope

His Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins will be celebrating a province-wide Catholic Education Week Mass on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. EST.

All students, families, board staff, trustees, and the broader Catholic community are invited to participate “virtually” in this celebration of the Eucharist by clicking on the link below at the scheduled time:

Essential Worker Appreciation Day

We will be celebrating Essential Worker Appreciation Day at St. Nicholas, on April 27th. Students are invited to do something (age appropriate) to recognize an essential worker in their life or that they have come across.

Please ensure that there are no last names on any of the creations submitted. If parents are submitting photos of their child, please remember that this will be a public website. Your child’s teacher will let you know how to submit the creations to them.

Thought Exchange

Thank you to all who were able to respond to the Thought Exchange that was shared last week. Our staff continues to work together to provide meaningful activities for your child during the school closure. Remember to utilize the WCDSB Learn@Home for any additional learning activities. WCDSB Pray@Home and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) references are also there to assist you.

Continue to monitor the WCDSB Coronavirus Updates, our website, Newswire, Twitter (@stnkspirit) and Instagram (@stnicholasspirit) for any updates.

Stay safe and healthy, Spirit!
