Mountain of Love

Thank you to everyone who was able to donate to our Mountain of Love. As a result of your generosity we have been able to assist families at several WCDSB elementary schools.

Toiletries for St. John’s Kitchen

Thank you to all who have been able to donate toiletries for St. John’s Kitchen. We’re still collecting items (deodorant, combs, hairbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, razors, shaving cream & soap) until Dec. 20th.

COBS Bread – The Boardwalk Dough Raiser Program

COBS Bread is a local community bakery offering a huge bread selection, sweet and savoury treats, all baked on premise, from scratch, without added preservatives. Products are Baked Today ~ Sold Today. And all our unsold product is donated to local charity partners through our End of Day Giving Program.

Every time families shop at the COBS Bread on the Boardwalk (on Ira Needles) simply let the cashier know (before you pay) that you are a St. Nicholas family and 10% of your purchase will be given to our school as a contribution to fundraising. Thank you COBS Bread!

School Safety Drills

Today we held our Fall Lockdown Drill. All students and staff performed extremely well.

Father David Walter

This morning we learned that Fr. David Walter, pastor at St. Michael, will be moving to a new parish in Georgetown in January. We would like to thank Fr. Dave for all that he has done for the parish, and for us at St. Nicholas CES. We hope to have Fr. Dave visit us in the new year so that we can wish him well.

Advent Mass – December 6

Our school will celebrate our Advent mass and the Feast of St. Nicholas at St. Michael’s Church on December 6 at 10 am. All are welcome to join us.
